As NEET PG exam is one of the toughest exams, it is difficult to score good rank with 3-month preparation. Nontheless, some candidates who have already prepared all subjects during MBBS course, they have a chance. What they need is proper revision and mock practice. Such candidates need to quickly review the concepts and start revision. Appear in mock test and alayse the result as well.

Candidates who are not permanent residents of Bihar but have completed MBBS from any medical college established by state government or private institutions recognised by medical council are elligible for Bihar PGMAC. They can appear in NEET PG and participate in the counselling rounds for seat allotment.

Yes. Round-2 has been completed. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) began registration for Bihar NEET PG 2025 counselling round-3 on January 2, 2026. Registration has to be done at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Deadline for round-3 registration was January 7, 2026. Seat allotment result date for round-3 will be announced soon.

Yes, NEET PG exam is acceptable for the admission to MD and MS courses at Barkatullah University. Barkatullah University offers various courses to various All India categories. In 2024, as per round 4 seat allotment, Barkatullah University cutoff 2024 for the General AI category stood at MD in Anaesthesiology for the General AI category candidates. Barkatullah University affiliated colleges accepts NEET PG exam to offer various MD and MS specialisations. Among all the courses, the MD in General Medicine was emerged as the top competitive course. Considering the Barkatullah University cutoff 2024, the last-round ranged between 1473 and 80584. Bihar NEET PG counselling is held by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinaion Board. More accuratly, the whole seat allocation process is held by Post Graduate Medical Admission Council (PGMAC). The counselling is held online for admission to postgraduate medical courses across medical college in Bihar. Candidates have to register online and submit application form for Bihar NEET PG counselling.

The Barkatullah University cutoff 2024 has been released for the All India and Home State quotas. As per the Barkatullah University NEET PG cutoff 2024, the closing rank for MD and MS courses stood between 1473 and 80584 for the General AI category candidates.Similarly, for the OBC Home State category, the cutoff ranged between 1400 and 169807Comparing the previous year cutoff for NEET PG, the 2024 showed a mixed results in terms of trend, wherein, for some courses, the cutoff tend to increase and for other, it decrease. No. NBE doesn't release analysis for NEET PG. Several coaching institutes and other experts release NEET PG analysis based on memory-based questions asked from exam-taking candidates. The exam analysis helps candidates to know the tentative score in the exam. Aspirants look for exam analysis to get an idea about weightage from each subjects.

Yes. NEET PG 2025 was postponed following Supreme Court's order. In an official release, NBE said the exam will be held in single shifts, citing SC's order directing it conduct NEET PG 2025 in single shift. While hearing a petition, SC had said two shift leads to inconsistency due to varying degree of difficulty level. The exam date for NEET PG 2025 was postponed from June 15 to August 3, 2025.
