As per the Government Medical College, Miraj cutoff 2024, the Round 2 ranged from 1960 to 97035 for the General AI category candidates. Among all the courses, the lowest percentile has been announced for MD in General Medicine under General AI category. GITAM University accepts NEET PG for MS admission. As per the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for MS in General Surgery was 41217 for the General AI category students. So, considering the first round, yes, candidates with NEET PG rank of 40,000 can get admission to MS in General Surgery at GITAM University. However, the cutoff ranks vary for different courses and categories. So, it is always better to check the category-wise cutoff ranks for your desired course for admission.

Yes, it is possible to get into Jhalawar Medical College, Jhalawar affiliated to UNIRAJ with a cutoff rank of 1700 under General AI category. While considering the UNIRAJ cutoff 2024, the MD in General Medicine cutoff stood at 1925 for the unreserved category. No, admission to the MD courses at the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS) under the University of Delhi requires NEET PG qualification. NEET PG is the mandatory and standardized entrance examination for postgraduate medical courses, including the MD program, across India. Without qualifying NEET PG, you will not be eligible for the MD course at IHBAS. Yes, OBC candidates with a good rank in NEET PG can compete for seats in any state through the All India Quota (AIQ) scheme. The OBC category has a 27% reservation in AIQ seats for NEET PG.
Here are some other reservation criteria for NEET PG:
Scheduled Castes (SC): 15% reservation
Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5% reservation
Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 10% reservation
Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 5% reservation
The Supreme Court has also ruled that meritorious SC/ST/OBC candidates who make it to the merit list are eligible for open seats in the general class.
