Candidates should have qualified NEET PG with minimum cut off for Assam NEET PG counselling. The other eligibility criteria are given below:

  • Candidates must be the permanent resident of the State.

  • They should have an MBBS pass certificate from any college/institute/university affiliated with the Medical Council of India.

  • Candidates must have completed 1-year internship within the stipulated date as stated by NMC.

  • Candidates should have obtained a medical registration certificate from NMC or State Medical Council (SMC).

Last year, Assam NEET PG counselling was held for allocation of around 652 MD/MS and Diploma seats. This year, the number of seats may vary. The actual number will be known once DME Assam releass the seat matrix. Assam NEET PG counselling 2025 dates and schedule were announced in September 2025.

No. Marks are not deducted for unanswered questions in NEET PG. A total of 200 multiple choice questions are asked in NEET PG exam. For every incorrect answer, -1 mark is deducted in the exam. NEET PG 2025 may or may not be held as it will be replaced by NExT.

NBE released NEET PG 2025 test city allotment on July 21, 2025. Candidates have to declare preferences of test city while applying online for the exam. Candidates will get to know allotted test city throug city intimation slip. NBE had reopened application window to choose NEET PG 2025 city from June 13 to June 17, 2025. After test city slip, NEET PG 2025 admit card is released online. Candidates will find name and address of exact test centre in the admit card. The admit card has been uploaded on July 31, 2025.

Calicut University accepts NEET PG scores for the admission to MD and MS courses. For candidates belonging to All India Quota, NEET PG Round 4 seat allotment for Calicut University MD/ MS cut off 2023 closing rank for MD in General Medicine stood at 138 for the General category AI candidates. No you cannot join ITS dental College hospital and research centre without net PC for MDS. 

BECAUSE THERE ARE SOME ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO JOIN THE MDS COURSE THE COURSE DURATION IS 3 YEAR AND THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IS THE CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE PASSED BACHELOR OF A DENTAL SURGERY AND COMPLETED ROTATORY INTERNSHIP FROM DENTAL COLLEGE RELATED WITH DCI.

No, you cannot join Bharati Vidyapeeth DU Medical College And Hospital Sangli for MS programs without NEET PG.


NEET PG is the mandatory national entrance exam required for admission to postgraduate medical courses (MD/MS) in India.
Bharati Vidyapeeth (deemed university) follows the national guidelines set by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
While there might be some exceptions for DNB (Diplomate of National Board) courses in some institutes,  MD/MS programs at Bharati Vidyapeeth will require a valid NEET PG score for admission.
