Until 2016, AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) was the medical exam and was replaced with NEET. I would suggest not to take another year to prepare for the same and look for other options. Dropping one more year will only add more complications while making a career.

Preparation for both of these exams is actually very simple. Assign time for study of each subject everyday. Assign time for exercise and yoga everyday. Take mock test every week. Brush up weak areas! That's all.
