Admission criteria for Aeronautical engineering after 12th is mentioned below:
One must pass the qualifying exam i.e. IIT-JEE for admission into Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), or the SRMJEE to apply to the aerospace engineering programme they have. The basic eligibility criteria for BE / B.Tech programme is 10+2 Science (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) with a fairly high percentage of marks in the aggregate. There are over 143 B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering colleges in India. Please refer to the link provided below for a list of these colleges. If you have completed your Diploma in mechanical then you can't do B.Tech but you can complete your AMIE IEI. With this AMIE, you can pursue a Bachelors in engineering which is equivalent and get a civil engineering degree.
