For COE it is approximately 4.5k to 5.5k. It is almost the same for IT. The cutoffs for ECE in other branches are lower.

I got 83.50 (best 4) in cbse and 86 in jee mains ! Do i hv any chance in dtu or nit or nsit type college

It would be difficult to get NSIT or NIT with this score but you can apply for other good colleges like Thapar University, UPES Banglore, UPES Dehradun & UTM Shillong . You can check out these institutes and apply for admission.

Can I get computer science or civil engineering at NSIT? I have scored 131 marks in JEE mains and 95% in class 12th.

NSIT doesn't have civil engineering and with these scores I don't think you will be able to get computer science.

it is difficult to get dtu or nsit if u r external i.e. from other state than delhi.

Can I get ECE or EEE in DTU, NSIT or IITD? I have scored 93.8% in class 12th and 163 in JEE mains. I belong to general category.

Hi Kamal, DTU and NSIT have almost same cut off. But IITD takes admissions through JEE Advanced. Your rank will almost be 21000-25000. So I think it will be very difficult to get those branches. But I think you will get something around Civil Engg.PLEASE UPVOTE THE ANSWER TO ALLOW ME TO CONTINUE ANS

it is difficult to get cse in dtu if u r general
however NIT surathkal comes under top 5 nits
so if u wait for 3-4 round in dtu or nit counselling u may probably get cse.
nd if u belong to any sc/st category than there is chance of getting cse in 1-2 round in dtu
