getting nsit or dtu is very difficult but their is a slight chance

For general category delhiites the cutoff goes around 4-5k for COE while for other branches it goes to around 20k for MPAE or BT.

Both NSIT and DTU are nearly equivalent in branches like COE and IT, although NSIT can be termed to be better because of the fact that here the competition is less due to less number of students for the same job. So the placements give an impression that they are better in NSIT.

No you can not get admission. JEE-mains is compulsory to get admission.

You should have an outstanding percentage of around 98-99% than you may get admission in NSIT.you can get branches like (if you percentage is near the above mentioned percentage) me,mpae ice. Best of luck

Since your board percentage is outstanding i think you will easily get a rank around 10k which will make you elegible for ece and if your luck is on a greener side you may well get it.best of luck ,wait for the rank declaration

Students who have a retest in 12th board are not eligible for admission to engineering degree courses mentioned by you even after clearing their entrance examination as you have to produce 12th mark sheet at the time of admission.

The fact that NSIT will become a university should not affect your decision of joining it in my opinion. As far as CSE packages are concerned, the highest go to upto 1.25 Cr when google hired around 8 students last to last year. The average package can be around 8-9 lacs p.a.
