NIFT Process

Once the applicants have qualified the entrance exam, they must upload the specified documents on the admission portal. After the final selection, candidates must report to the NIFT Patna campus for physical verification of documents. They must bring along the following original documents and their respective photocopies:

• Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
• Proof of date of birth (Class 10 marksheet & certificate)
• Valid certificate of SC/ST/OBC - Non-Creamy Layer/PwD/Open - EWS category (if applicable)
• Certificate of Medical Fitness to be signed by a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed format
• An undertaking for seeking provisional admission only in case, the result of qualifying examination is
  yet to be declared
• An undertaking on Anti-Ragging
• An undertaking regarding refund of fee

The allotment of seats is based on: Choice opted at the time of counseling registration (academic programs + campuses) The category of the candidate Seat intake in the college opted for admission NIFT 2023 merit rank of the candidate. NIFT 2023 seat allotment process will be conducted in May 2023. The National Institute of Fashion Technology is conducting counseling registration for NIFT 2023 from April 28 to May 8 (12 pm, midnight). Candidates who have qualified in NIFT 2023 are eligible to participate in the counseling process. The NIFT 2023 seat allotment for regular UG & PG courses have been announced on June 1, 2023. Candidates who are allotted seats need to pay the seat-acceptance fee by June 6 (11.59 pm). Note that the seat allotment of NIFT 2023 is based on the NIFT 2023 merit rank and choices opted by the candidate.
