NIT Agartala and NIT Raipur both accept NIMCET entrance scores for admission to the MCA course. However, NIT Raipur is more competitive than Agartala in terms of the NIMCET cutoff. The Round 2 cutoff for NIT Raipur stood at 732 in 2024 for the General AI category students. While for NIT Agartala, the round 2 cutoff was 781 in 2024. So, it is evident that NIT Raipur is very popular among the students for its MCA course.

The official NIMCET 2025 result was released on June 25, 2025, only on the official portal. To access the result, candidates had to log in using the required credentials. The result was downloaded in the form of the NIMCET 2025 scorecard. No other mode was used to announce the result.

As per the students' the overall difficulty level of the NIMCET 2024 June 8, exam was easy to moderate. 

NIMCET (NIT MCA Common Entrance Test) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for admission to their Master of Computer Applications MCA programs. It is possible to crack the NIMCET exam in 2 months with a dedicated effort and a systematic study plan.For the preparation of nimcet, an aspirant needs to have basic knowledge of mathematics of 10+2 level. If an aspirant is good in mathematics, then it is easy to crack nimcet because out of 1000 marks 600 marks is for maths section and 400 marks are for others reasoning, computer basics, and English.

NIT Patna NIMCET cutoff 2026 is released for admission to the MCA course and its various specialisations in the form of ranks. 

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff varied between 570 for MCA AI & IoT and 946 for Data Science and Informatics self financed. According to the last round, the most demanding MCA specialisation was Master in Computer Application (AI & IoT). The cutoff was also released for other categories.

Candidates must have mathematics and statistics as their subjects during their undergraduate degree to be eligible for NIMCET . So, Business Mathematics won't be an eligibility criteria in NIMCET Examination.
