No need to get disheartened. If by chance you couldn't crack the NIMCET, you can apply for other MCA programs from other private colleges, or take up other MCA entrance exams, or even prepare well to retake the NIMCET the next year. Good thing is that there is no limit on the number of attempts for NIMCET. Additionally, there is no age limit as well.

No, you are only supposed to carry the hard copy of the NIMCET admit card. You must keep in mind that the invigilators will not allow you if you are not carrying the hard coPy of your admit card. You are advised to download your NIMCET admit card and take a printout from the NIMCET official website.

Here is the list of documents you must carry to the NIMCET test centre -

  • Printed copy of your NIMCET admit card
  • A valid government-issued photo ID (e.g. Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, or Voter ID). No soft copies will be accepted.
  • A recent passport-sized photograph.

Please note that calculators, mobile phones or any electronic gadgets are strictly NOT allowed in the exam hall.

This usually happens when there are not enough participants for that particular centre. Authorities then cancel a NIMCET exam centre and allot the exam centre according to the next order of preference of the candidate, or the closest geographically available centre.

You will be given an option to select your NIMCET exam centres while filling out the NIMCET application form. You will be allotted the exam centres as per your preference order and availability. You can check your allotted exam centre through the NIMCET admit card

Yes, extra sheets are provided to the NIMCET candidates for rough work or calculations. Keep in mind that you would need to submit those rough sheets at the end of the exam to the invigilators.
