The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch is considered the best and most popular branch at NIT Agartala. Some key points about CSE at NIT Agartala:
- CSE has the best placement scenario with almost all students getting placed.
- Infosys recruited the most students from NIT Agartala in 2019 with 69 job offers.

The NIT Agartala GATE Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1. The Cutoff was released for various M.Tech courses for different categories. For the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff scores ranged between 350 and 528. The most competitive course was M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence, with the closing cutoff of 528. Therefore, candidate with a Cutoff of 500 cannot get M.Tech in AI at NIT Agartala.
For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff for M.Tech in AI closed at 443. Therefore candidates falling under the OBC AI category can consider taking M.Tech in AI with the given score.

Yes mathematics is compulsory at NIT Agartala. If you want to go to NITs you need to qualify JEE Mains and maths is a compulsory subject for this.

NIT Agartala is a government college. It is established in 1965. It is ranked 91 according to NIRF ranking 2023. It offers several Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Certificate programmes in various courses such as MBA, BTECH, B.Sc, etc. The admission to the college are solely based om the entrance examination. Similarly, as per the latest statistics of placement data, the average package offered during the NIT Agartala placement 2022 is INR 7 LPA whereas during the NIT Patna placement 2022, the average package offered was INR 14 LPA.
