No, the registration has not begun yet. The registration for CAT 2025 are excepeted to begun from August and the results for the exam will be released in the month of December. So, you will have to wait till december to join the course through CAT exam. But, you can join the course through MAT CBT coexam as its applications are currently open.

With a rank of 295792 in JEE Mains under the SC category, it is difficult to secure admission in that college in the Industrial and Production Engineering branch at NIT Jalandhar.
Even with home state quota, the cutoff ranks are usually much lower. This time it is about 50,000 to 100,000 for SC category. Your rank is too high for this competitive branch.

No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admission to M.Tech courses at NIT Jalandhar. To be eligible for admission, candidates must complete their BTech courses with at least an aggregate of 60%. Additionally, candidates must have appeared in the GATE entrance examination and CCMT counselling.
