NIT Jalandhar offers a two-year MBA course, which is divided into four semesters. The MBA courses curriculum comprises the following components:
- Core courses (Theory)
- Elective courses
- Summer Internship (6-8 weeks during intervening summer break)
- Research Project
During each MBA semester, the student will register for course work and/or Project work as specified by the Institute Senate for each programme. The curriculum for different courses should be drawn up so that minimum number of credits for successful completion of M.B.A Programme is not less than 72 credits.

According to the cut-off list released by NIT Jalandhar for GATE, it’s crystal clear that Computer Science has been the first preference of top-ranking candidates as the closing rank for the years 2021, 2022 & 2023 is 512, 350 and 382, respectively for the General All India category students.
