As on Mar 7, 2023, the highest package offered during NIT Jalandhar placements 2023 drive stood at INR 51 LPA. Earlier in 2022, the NIT Jalandhar the highest package offered stood at INR 120 LPA. Going back to 2021 placements, NIT Jalandhar the highest package offered stood at INR 43.17 LPA.

For 2022 admissions, the cut off was 52952 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech (Hons) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in NIT Jamshedpur. For the female candidates in general category under All India quota, 69621 was the closing rank BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant. IIT BHU Ceramic is better than all choices given by you, since all choices are core branches and non circuital branches so it’s better to go with IIT tag, and placements in IIT BHU are awesome. You can sit in all IT companies with wonderful track record of median packages.

Both the NITs are good on their own. As per the NIRF ranking 2023, NIT Patna is ranked 56, while NIT Jamshedpur has been awarded the rank band of 101–151. The flagship course of both institutes is BTech.

Hostel: NIT Jamshedpur has 9 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel. All the hostel has amenities like mess, wi-fi internet facility, guest room and common room with television.

It is good to pursue MTech course at NIT Jamshedpur. National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, provides a two-year full-time MTech programme. For admission, candidates must visit the official website of the institute to submit an online application. Candidates are selected on the basis of GATE exam scores.
