To get admission into MCA courses at NIT Raipur, candidates are required to complete certain eligibility criteria, from which the first one is candidates must complete their Bachelors or equivalent degree from a recognised university/ Institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% (of all the years) or an equivalent CGPA of 6.5/10. In the case of SC/ ST candidates, 55% aggregate marks (of all the years) or an equivalent CGPA of 6.0/10. Moreover, the selection process is based on candidates' scores acheived in NIMCET.

To get admission into MSc courses at NIT Raipur, candidates are required to complete certain eligibility criteria, from which the first one is candidates must complete their BSc degrees with PCM as the subject. Secondly, candidates must maintain the minimum aggregate required by the institute- 60% for the general category and 55% for reserved categories. Lastly, candidates must appear and secure a valid score in IIT JAM, then they are required to appear in CCMN counselling.

Students applying for the National Institute of Technology Raipur MCA course must have passed a three-year degree or equivalent degree from a recognised University/Institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% (of all the years) or an equivalent CGPA of 6.5/10. In the case of SC/ST candidates, 55% aggregate marks (of all the years) or an equivalent CGPA of 6.0/10 is the eligibility requirement.
