According to package and nowadays demand IT, CS, ECE are the most preferred ones. Some of the popular courses at the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar are: B.Tech in Chemical Engineering B.Tech in Civil Engineering B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering B.Tech in Electrical Engineering B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

If you want to get into CSE or IT here, then you need to score minimum 170 or more marks in JEE Mains.
And for other core branch(Mechanical, Electrical, civil etc) you need 150 or more marks.
Actually it varies every year.
In 2021 some students of general category got admitted into NIT Srinagar scoring 110 or more (In special round) in Chemical and metallurgy Branch.
But some students of CSE are also studying here who got 200 or more marks in JEE Mains.
So i think if you want to get into this college then minimum 150 or more marks is safe side in JEE Main for a general category student.
