NIT Srinagar is not expensive. The institute fee ranges from INR 45K- INR 5 lakh. The fee structure includes tuition fees, hostel fees, mess charges, etc. The institute accepts fee via the mode specified by the institute.

Yes, its hard to get admission at NIT Srinagar. For BTech for which admission is done based on JEE Main scores. Other than the BTech and M.Tech courses, NIT Srinagar also offers MSc, MBA and PhD programmes. Candidates shortlisted through JEE Main and GATE exams need to appear for JoSAA and CCMT Counselling for NIT Srinagar course admissions to BTech and M.Tech programmes.

To secure admission For Mtech at NIT SRINAGAR You must have to give Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
1)You have to anyalise the previous year GATE cutoff for different branches and meet the specialization wise cutoff.
2)You have to Participate in the counselling process organised by the CCMT.
3)On the basis of your cutoff you will get NIT srinagar or Other NITs for Mtech.
4)At last you have to report the college and pay the fees
