The NIT Surathkal MSc cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the MSc cutoff ranks ranged between 881 and 956 for the General AII India category students. Among all the MSc specialisations, M.Sc. in Physics is the most competitive. So, considering the round 1 cutoff, candidates seeking admission to NIT Surathkal must secure over and above the cutoff range mentioned here to be eligible.

• Hostels : Single /double or triple sharing Air Conditioned rooms with 24×7 wifi connection are available for the students. Separate reading block for self study is available for the students .

For OBC category, the closing rank for NIT Surathkal cutoff 2023 for Round 1 Seat Allotment is 158. During the NIT Surathkal OBC 2023 cutoff, the Last Round closing rank for B.Tech in CSE was 4070 for the AI category students. For the Home State Quota, B.Tech in CSE cutoff closed at 12354. Considering the Last Round cutoff for OBC, the most competitive course was B.Tech in Information Technology. The second most competitive BTech course for the OBC category was B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence with the Last Round closing rank of 1236 for the AI Quota. For the Home State Quota, the Last Round cutoff for the same course stood at 4249.

In this academic year, the highest package was 54 LPA and the lowest was aroundNIT Surathkal is one of the best engineering institutes in the country. In 2023, NIRF has ranked it 12 under the 'Engineering' category. The NITK Surathkal BTech programme accepts students based on their JEE Main score and JoSAA Counselling. In the event that seats remain unfilled following JoSAA counselling, CSAB counselling is used to fill them. In addition, candidates need to fulfil the minimal requirements, which include a minimum of 75% in Class 12 or a comparable exam.

NIT Surathkal is a public/government college. It was established in 1956. It is ranked 26th under the engineering category according to NIRF 2023. For taking admission in NIT Surathkal JEE Mains is taken by the candidate and the admission is based on the merit list released by the college. The Cut offf for taking admission in the NIT Surathkal falls under 24400 for general category and cutt off for SC/ST Category is around 2300, and for OBC Category it falls under 23500. IN 6th cut off rounds the last cutt off range was 2362. So, There are less chances that one can get admision with the rank between 23000-24000

It's true that there is a spike in the cutoff rank of the NITK Surathkal in 2023. As the number of seat allocation has decreased and the priority of the college and the course to be opted has increased. And an another reason as in  the previous times there used to be separate exams for both IIT and NIT, but now. there is a joint allocation of seats for the IITs and NITs so as seat blocking has spiked the cutoff rank to gain the students with great knowledge.
