Hi dear, We all know that the world is leaning towards automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning etc. For every new innovation and invention, the only group of people who are in favour are "The Inventors" who contributes 2.5% of the total population. Then comes the "Early Adaptors" who SEE the future of that innovation and adapted it. They contribute only 13.5% of the total population. After early adaptors there is a gap called "The Chasm". Every idea has to cross this bridge to grow into a leading business. Then comes "Early Majority", "Late Majority" and lastly"The Laggards" (who were initially against) who contribute 34%, 34% and 16% respectively. To answer your question, I just want to let you know that Data Science, Computational Science, Artificial Intelligence, Deep learning etc. Are in the phase of Early Majority as they have spent a long period in establishment. So, without any doubt it is very clear that this field has immense potential in the future. The only drawback which one can SEE is that it require only skillful candidates which is intact a positive thing for nation building and GDP growth. Hope I answered your question.
