According to the previous year's seat allotment through CSAB's special round, you have some chance to get NIT, Surathkal. However, there are certain conditions:
1. In CSAB special round 1, you have fewer chances of getting into the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal.
2. To get a seat in round one with a 37,000 rank, you would need to have the home state quota of Karnataka.
3. You may get into branches such as mining engineering.
4. You have a better chance in round two of allocation.
