Hi, joining a low-ranking NIT can still be a good decision. While higher ranked colleges provide advantages such as better recognition and networks. The effort you put into your studies are equally important. You should also consider aspects such as the course you are choosing, faculty, infrastructure and most importantly the opportunity for personal and professional growth. So, instead of the colleges' ranking, your personal dedication, talents, and experiences majorly makes a difference in your career.

Both IITs and NITs are quite good at generating excellent engineers,  but the best IIT colleges have an advantage due to their high standards of academics. IITians are among the leading creators of the top startups in America, according to study done in the US. IITs consider JEE Advanced ranks while NITs consider JEE Mains rank for their admission process. So IIT is tougher than NIT.
