Admission to Narula Institute of Technology (NIT) is strictly merit-based through entrance exams like JEE Main and WBJEE. Rank in WBJEE for B.Tech computer Science is likely between 10,000 and 20,000. Rank in JEE Main also is about 1 Lacs is enough. Direct admission is also offered for those who do not desire to undergo counseling. Overall, it's a tough competition, though students with proper preparation and scores can easily get admissions in NIT.
