Also, NIT Tiruchirappalli is the best and the oldest among other NITs with excellent placements and infrastructure.

If you get at any of these 5 IITs then that should be your 1st preference:
BOMBAY
DELHI
MADRAS
KANPUR
KHARAGPUR
If you dont get in the above then join NIT TRICHY.
Let kme tell you that NIT TRICHY is better than all the new IITs.
So, I would recommend you to think on similar lines and decide as to what combination might work out the best for you. One thing I would strongly advise is not to make decisions based on emotions or attachments related to an institute, parents (with reference to staying near them) or friends. 1. If you have decided your field and branch of study and you are determined in that than go for the branch irrespective of NIT, IIT or IIIT.
2. If you are unsure of the branch, then I would recommend, first research the course guidelines of the above-stated branches and outcomes of the same and then see which matches your interest best because 4 years is not a short period.
