The WB National University of Juridical Sciences applications for UG and LLM courses is via CLAT. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) usually starts the registration by July. The WB National University of Juridical Sciences does not offer direct admission. Candidates need to qualify the accepted entrance exams for admission. The university considers CLAT score for admission to BA LLB (Hons), BSc LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. NLU Kolkata conducts an entrance test for admission to LLD, MSc and PhD courses. Selected candidates need to participate in the counselling round for admission.

Admission for M.Sc Forensic Science at NLU ( NUJS) KOLKATA are not currently open. Admission start nearly July every year.
- Duration- M.Sc Forensic Science is 2 years programme which include 4 semesters ( Maximum 4 years to complete program).
- Subjects are: 1.General Awareness 2.Reasoning 3.Current Affairs 4. Physical Science 5. Life Science 6. Data Science etc.
- Total fees during the course is around INR 2,81,000
- Intake - 30 seats for Post Graduate and Reservation as per the rule of the State Govt/ University.

Top law firms like Khaitan and Co., Trilegal, SAM, CAM and others recruit students from the college and the highest salary package received was INR 60 LPA in the recent batch. Almost all Tier 1 law firms participate in the day zero placements and placements continue throughout the year. Average package offered is around INR 15 Lacs and public sector undertakings also participate in placements. Some students secure pre-placement offers (PPOs) as well.
