Admission to B.A LLB Program is solely based on the performance in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), currently conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities. The eligibility criteria for each year may vary and shall be as determined by the Consortium of the National Law Universities. The Five Year Undergraduate B.A./B.Sc.-LL.B. Programme is open to candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) or an examination equivalent thereof. The admission is based exclusively on the performance in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)

It is the best law college in WB, ranked at 4th in the country for a reason.
Placements: There were 100% placements in the previous year for the batch of 2022. Top companies like Khaitan and Co., come for recruitment. Tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 law firms have also come for hiring. The highest salary package received was 60 LPA for the batch of 2022.
Infrastructure: The library is well stocked and has books and materials for all courses of law. It also gives access to various famous online libraries like hein online, SSC India Kanoon, and Westlaw amongst others. Classrooms are well ventilated, have air-conditioners and it is huge. W

WBNUJS BA/B.Sc LLB will have the following eligibility criteria:
- Candidates need to clear 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 45% marks.
- A relaxation of 5% marks is given to the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
- WBNUJS BA/B.Sc LLB Selection Criteria will be as below:
- The selection process of candidates aspiring to get admission to BA/B.Sc LLB and LLM programmes is based on their performance in CLAT entrance exams.

Yes WBNUJS is more expensive compared to Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta and the fee structure would be appoximately as stated below :
The WBNUJS Kolkata UG fee 2023 is INR 2,02,700 (for the first year). However, WBNUJS Kolkata 2023 fee for the PG course is INR 1,19,800 (for the first year). The university is offering BA LLB and BSc LLB as UG law courses.
Whereas Faculty of law, university of calcutta fees for B.A LLB will be at around 87.2k to 3.2L

Yes it is the best college for Law students in Kolkata with very good infrastructure, excellent course content and the college offers very good connect with the alumni which is helpful to gain knowledge through thm and also to get internship and ful time oppurtunities and the college has a very good library which is the top most when compared to other colleges in kolkata
