For placements, GCET generally has an edge over NIU due to its stronger recruiter base and more consistent placement record, especially for CSE and IT branches.

Between the two, I'd choose Galgotias University. It offers better placement opportunities, stronger industry exposure, and a more active campus with hackathons, workshops, and technical events. If placements and ROI are your priorities, Galgotias is the better choice.

No,  students with a 3-year UG degree from outside NIU cannot obtain an NIU degree by completing only 1 year at the university.

They'all also have to meet the conditions below:

  • Complete 1.5 to 2 years of coursework
  • Any other requirement specific to the academic department

Yes, Northern Illinois Uni does accept a 3-year UG degree from an NAAC institution in India with a grade 'A' or better. If the degree is from another institution, students will need special permission for entry. To know more, check the official Nothern Illinois Uni website.

The mode of Noida International University programme admissions is online. Students who wish to get admission must first go on the university official site. Apply for the available programmes. Select one programme & pay its complete fee. Then, in the end, submit the form to apply online. Admission to various courses is based on entrance test scores & merit. The accepted entrance tests are CUET,  NSAT, & etc.

The total fee (tuition) for the BSc at Noida International University is 3.1 L - 7.1 L. The fee changes & depends on the level of competition & the available no. of seats. Students can reach the official site & check for the fee updates or click here

Yes, Noida International University is a private university which was established in 2010. Noida International University is approved by BCI, UGC, Indian Association of Physiotherapists, PCI,  AIMA, AIU, & others. The university is accredited by NBA, AACSB with A+ Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).

No, the BSc course admissions at NIU are no longer open in 2025. The BSc admissions at NIU are decided by the scores obtained by a candidate in the CUET entrance exams. The last date to register for the CUET exam ended in the month of March in 2025. The exam has already been concluded in the month of July. Candidates need to wait for the announcement of the CUET 2026 exam for BSc admissions at NIU.

NIU offeres BSc courses through its School of Nursery and Allied Health Sciences. The School of Nursery only has one BSc course on offer which is BSc in Nursery while the School of Allied Health Sciences offers 6 different specialisations. The duration of each of these courses can last between 3 years - 4 years. Candidates can check out all these courses on the official website.
