Q: What are the important guidelines for fee refund at Noida International University?

In Noida International University, Application, prospectus and registration fees once paid will not be refunded once the payment is done. Given below are some important information for refunds:

If any existing candidates are required NOC then yearly fee has to be paid.
In case a candidate has been admitted with 100% NIU Scholarships on tution fee and applies for refund, in this case deduction/adjustments and refund would me made on the paid components.
In case, the candidates has availed any letter or documents from University for processing the loan then refund will be through the AC payee cheque in the favour of sanctioning bank, unless the candidates submit the NOC from the bank.

My suggestion: Don't take admission in this college.

Placements: In my opinion, BPT is a course in which the college doesn't unnecessarily provide placements, but providing a good internship is the college's responsibility. Currently, I am in my 2nd year, so I can't really comment about placements, but after asking my seniors, I got to know that the placement rate is quite average.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is actually very good. Our college building is very beautiful. The building in which our BPT classes occur is one of the best buildings in the college, as it is newly constructed, there is no AC in the practical labs otherwise. All the classrooms are very spacious. Students are not allowed to use the elevator. Wi-Fi is okayish. The library is also okayish, there are not enough books present in the library for the students.

Faculty: Faculty is polite and kind but not at all knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very bad. There are no practicals done at all, even though practicals are very important in our course. I actually regret joining this college, there is no one who listens to our demands.

Other: There are no such events organised in our college, very low-budget events are organised overall faculty is very stingy. Overall, I regret my decision to take admission in this college.

Placements: Many students are now engaged in this course, and there were few people before my batch. The highest package offered is around 3 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 1.5 LPA in this course. Roles like web designer, visual designer, packaging designer, typography designer, brand identity designer, digital illustrator, UI designer, 2D animator, in-house designer, etc., are offered here. We can also start freelancing.

Infrastructure: The university campus is very good. The infrastructure is well-maintained. Classrooms are well structured with a proper seating plan. Wi-Fi facility is provided on the university campus. We also have a medical hospital. There are medical students who study there. Canteens and cafes are available on campus. Classrooms are well-equipped.

Faculty: Teachers are well-educated. They have great knowledge and enlighten us with so many things regarding our course. Teaching quality is enough to convey our knowledge. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 35 percent. We have a grade point system in our exam results.

Other: I chose this university to pursue this course as I found it suitable and secure. There should be more attention towards the classrooms as we have less space, but classrooms are well maintained. This university also provides scholarships.

All things are improving over time. There are things that I don't like (regarding management).

Placements: The facilities are improving. Recently some students got placed with the package of 8 LPA, 6 LPA, etc. Last semester Infosys came for recruitment. In conclusion many good changes are ongoing we're getting various opportunities for our studies and career.

Infrastructure: I haven't opted for a hostel. So about course and infrastructure. The labs and Wi-Fi are good. You'll get many options in the library. The classrooms are fine. I've heard about the hostel facilities. They seem to be okay. You can't have so many expectations from hostels.

Faculty: Teachers are doing their job well. Some faculty members aren't able to explain well likewise some students can't understand concepts explained in various ways by the teachers. I'd say you'll learn everything that's required but not in a way that makes you ready for industry.

Other: Things that need improvement are the management. Students have to do some specific things every semester that make no sense. Things can be easy without making a mess. Only two fests in two years. However there are many course-related events which is a good factor. But the balance is still missing. Extracurricular activities, sports, NCC, and cultural activities.

It is a perfect college for placement and other facilities.

Placements: Almost 40% of students were placed with different organizations during campus placements. The highest package is 13.96 LPA from Zaro Education, and the average is approximately 4 LPA. The top is Zaro Education. Almost 80% of students got internships from the campus itself. The top role offered from an MBA is in sales.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the course are fantastic. It is a good place to visit and spend time, providing internet for every individual with a unique ID and password. Labs are all well-equipped and have high-end computers, with smart TVs in class and fully air-conditioned inside the building. The hostel is not on the campus. It usually gives students different hostels that are not under the college.

Faculty: The faculty are helpful. They treat us like their own kids and have a friendly environment with faculty members. The Dean addresses any problems that occur and helps students to overcome them. Exams are strict, with an attendance of 75% mandatory, and we have to be available for class. Very minimal leave can be accepted. Semester exams are quite easy, and if we know the answers, we can score well.

Other: The main issue is that the college doesn't organize many fests or events for all at one place. They throw freshers, and that’s all.

If you have no choice left or don't plan to rely on college, then you can think about this college.

Placements: Since I'm still in my second year, no one from my batch has got an internship or placement till now through college, as far as I know, but yes, some are doing internships, including me, but they have got them off-campus. As for seniors, I don't hear much about their placement, although it's true that companies like IBM, TCs, and Samsung are coming to the college, but I think many just get removed in the first round. As far as I have heard from my teachers and other students.

Infrastructure: First of all, this college only provides hostels for some medical students. It does not have a hostel for any other schools. As for the infrastructure, I would say it is decent for what you would expect from a tier 3 college. There are six computer labs in the main Newton block. Except for 1 or 2, all the computer labs are decent enough, but I would not say the same for other labs. The library is decent too.

Faculty: I would say some teachers are good and helpful, while others are just maybe doing the formality. I think that's the case for most of the college. Well, for my course, the curriculum seems relevant. It just depends on how much gets converted in class. The semester exams for one, I would say, are easy for me since I study, but I also hear that it's difficult for many of my classmates, even to the point where 30-40% of the class gets debarred.

Other: For me, I didn't have much choice left because I only had 89.9% in JEE, so I just followed my friend since I had other plans for not relying on college and pursuing a Master's, and CSE isn't my main interest, so I am working on it on the side of my college, and there are tons of good resources available for doing that. I would say this college has relatively fewer semester loads compared to what I had heard about many colleges, which becomes beneficial for me since it gives me more time to prepare for my goal.

Their facilities, teachers, and campus are really amazing.

Placements: Placement is good. Opportunities come from popular companies like Google and Microsoft. This university gives more opportunities for students.

Infrastructure: Their infrastructure is really amazing, and the campus is very large. The university also has a canteen, not just one but three canteens. It has its own hospital, IIMS, a cricket team, and a fully Wi-Fi-enabled campus.

Faculty: Teachers are highly educated and of very good quality. They are providing knowledge as well as great advice for the future. Exams are not very difficult because all questions come from what is taught in class. However, if you do not study and go to take the exam unprepared, you face a lot of difficulties.

Other: If you want to start a medical journey, this university is really amazing for medical students. It is also good for technology students. My course name is BCA Bachelor of Computer Applications. It is highly recommended in the IT sector. This course is amazing.
