Undergraduate Students

• International students can apply via either the Common Application or Coalition Application
• With the application, students are required to submit all the documents such as essays, test scores, transcripts, etc.
• The materials that have to be submitted along with the application are academic transcripts, recommendation letters, standardized test scores (if applicable), and English language proficiency test score, and financial documents
• The application fee is USD 75

Graduate Students

• Since Northeastern University admission requirements vary as per graduate programs, it is advised to students to check their respective course requirements
• The general online application materials that are required are an online application form, transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate schools attended, a personal statement specifying the applicant’s interest in the programme and goals, 1-3 letters of recommendation, CV or professional resume, official GRE, LSAT or GMAT scores (as required), a non-refundable application fee of USD 75 – 100

The admission process highlights at Northeastern University are given as follows:

·       The admission process during fall intake for undergraduate programs start in August whereas for transfer applicants, it begins between February to March and for spring intake, it begins around August and September. Admission to Northeastern University is highly selective.

·       When considering applicants for first-year admission, the committee considers what opportunities for advanced coursework are available and if the student has taken those courses.

·       The committee will begin to evaluate an applicant’s candidacy for admission when all the credentials have been received. Students are informed of their applicant information through the Application Status Check.

·       The students are highly encouraged to verify that identification information (name, date of birth, and Northeastern ID) is on every item submitted to ensure timely and accurate processing.
