No, participation in student organizations, clubs, or associations is entirely voluntary and based on individual interest. Northeastern University offers various students organizations, clubs, or associations. There is no compulsion to join and any organizations, clubs, or associations.

Northeastern University will accept the official English test score results from one of the valid language tests that have been approved. The university does not have any minimum score requirements and students are required to submit their final results to be accepted for admission. Northeastern University expects a GPA of a minimum of 3 or above on a 4 scale to be eligible to enter any program. GPA is the foremost factor during admission and student must perform excellently throughout their high school. Along with GPA, students must submit the ACT and SAT scores to create a positive impact on their resume. The minimum ACT score required is between 33 and 35 and minimum SAT scores must be between 1490 and 1540.
