Northern College can take up to 6 weeks to provide an offer letter to international students. Since thousands of applications are enrolled at the college for programs under different specializations, the college reviews each application and segregates them. The whole process is quite time-consuming. The segregation of applications is done based on the student’s academic performance, English language scores, extracurricular activities, and relevant experiences.

The Northern College acceptance rate is 56%. The college never discloses its acceptance rate so the value may vary. The acceptance rate shows, that Northern College follows moderately competitive selection criteria for international students' admission. The acceptance rate of the college depends on the student's excellent academic performance, English language scores, high school/diploma certificates, and relevant experience in the field. However, an average student with good academic records still has the chance to get Northern College admission under any program.

Northern College has a decent acceptance rate. In the full-time academic courses offered by the Northern College, the college has approximately 1,500 students, similarly for its part-time academic programmes, the college enrols more than 11,000 students. On the other hand, Northern College's acceptance rate for international students is strongly dependent upon the candidature and qualification of an applicant. International students majorly constitute the student strength of online programmes, while only 2% of the total students studying on the campuses are international.
