Northern College

The Northern Lights College does not share its decision timeline in the official notice. However, the college will share the decision before the semester begins or two or more weeks after the complete submission of the documents, along with the application form.

It is advised to the students that they need to submit all the documents as per their choice of course to get admission to the Northern Lights College to be considered for the selection procedure and the application decision.

The  Bachelor of Science in Nursing course at Northern College is a Bachelor degree programme in the collaboration with h Laurentian University. Students applying for this programme at the Northern University will receive their bacehlor's degree from Laurentian University and complete their course duration of 4 years from the college.

The course provide the professional approch and the excellent academic experience to the students.

International students applying at the Northern College for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme are required to hold a minimum 75%, of scores in each math, Biology, Chemistry and another two  elective courses in their 12th standard . Also, international students are required to proof thei English language proficiecy in IELTS (Academic) with an overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.

The Northern University admission requirements for international students include basic, visa, and English language requirements. International students have to fulfill the following Northern University requirements to enroll in any program.

The basic requirements for Northern college programs are given below:

UG applicants: Grade 12 in a relevant discipline from a recognised board of education with English as a mandatory subject and an overall score of 50% aggregate

PG applicants: A three Diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution

Students who are willing to study at Northern College Bachelor of Computer Science programme are beneffited with double credentials covering a two-year college Diploma from Northern College and a university degree from Algoma University after sucessfully completing the 7 semesters.

Adittionally, students can also get two-year college Diploma after completing four semesters
courses of Northern College if not intrested in getting the degree and will also get to experience the advanced teaching style and academics from both Northern College and Algoma University.

Yes, the Algoma University and Northern College are inpartnership for the Bachelor of Computer Science. Therefore, if the students is accepted at the Northern College then they are automatically considered for the Computer Science degree at Algoma University; however, they are considered as the student of Northern College and pay the tuition fee and fulfil other eligibility requirements as per the college.
