There are so many Medical Surgical Nursing colleges in India where you can get admission on a merit-based system. For example, Parul University, Amity University, Armed Forces Medical College, SRM Medical College, St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences, etc., don't conduct or accept any entrance exam scores for MSc Medical Surgical Nursing admission. You can just fulfill the eligibility criteria and get admission to these colleges.

The basic difference between Medical-Surgical Nursing and General Nursing practice is that Medical-Surgical Nursing is focused on the specific area of study, where Nurses get trained to provide medical assistance to patients with surgical conditions. Meanwhile, the general Nursing practice trains Nurses for every basic duty for a general patient's ward.
