It is a 3-year Diploma program. The GNM programme is conducted in affiliation with the Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board, recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, Karnataka Nursing Council, and approved by the Government of Karnataka.

Fees for GNM course at Kalawati Nursing and Paramedical College is based on number of semesters.
