Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University was established in 2020, as a state-collegiate university in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It is a Govt. owned institution, which gives affiliation to all government and private Medical, Dental, Nursing and Paramedical colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Furthermore, ABVMU Lucknow has also been chosen by the International Chair in Bioethics (UNESCO Chair) and Global Network for Medical, Health Professions and Bioethics Education to function as the Centre of the Department of Education.
