The Occupational English Test (OET) does not have a good score benchmark. A good OET score is generally considered to be 350 or above in each of the four sub-tests (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) for the best opportunities. The specific score requirements can vary depending on the country, healthcare board, and profession.

The highest possible score for each of the four sub-tests in OET is 500 in ten-point increments. It is not one of the toughest exams but you need to prepare well to achieve a high score. The numerical score of OET will be represented by A, B, C, D, and E. Here A is for the highest and E is for the lowest.

No, it is not a mandatory document to have at the time of OET registration. You can use a valid national government-issued ID as well such as an Adhar card. Make sure your full name, date of birth, and photograph are clearly mentioned on the photo ID. Note that, your driving license can not be used as a government ID for registration.

If you have studied well during your medical course, then the OET is definitely an easy exam for you. Unlike IELTS or other proficiency exams, it focuses on aspects related to conversations between doctors and patients. This is to ensure that you are eligible to be part of the healthcare system in that country.
