Admission depends more upon the no. of students who apply for the course. So, college will send mail to the first 200 student who got rank under 200. Then they send the mail to other candidates after they get the response from the first 200 candidates. suppose if from the first 200 rank holders only 100 people applied, then college will target the next batch of rank holders and so on.

No, you will not get CS with the score of 99 marks. You'll need atleast 140/200 to get CS for sure.

Can't say but, It will get you a seat in the branches of print and media, industrial production, but not on the day of the first round of counselling. You would need to apply for the waiting list, and in the 2nd or 3rd round of councelling you could get the above mentioned branches. You won't be able to get the branches of automobile engineering, electrical and electronics, mechatronics, mechanical, and branches like computer Science, electronics and communications, computer and communication, information technology are not to be considered. Exam Pattern comprises 2 sections-
Part A will be objective and Part B will comprise subjective questions.
Total duration will be 90 minutes I.e. 60 minutes for Part A and 30 minutes for Part B.
The objective section carries 100 marks, including questions based on general knowledge, language, and media. The subjective section carries three questions of total 50 marks and questions will include essay writing, creative writing and opinion piece.
Syllabus will be –
Language Skills - Will have questions on correct the spellings, singular, plural, synonyms, antonyms, idioms and phrases, one-word substitutes, etc.

You can't get CSE or mechanical with this score. You will get some lower branches like IP, PMT and ICT.

Check their last year merit list, if your score is at least 10-20 marks above the last years' cut-off (just in case the merit increases in your favored branch), you are likely to get into Manipal University.
