AIIMS Bachelor of Optometry is an undergraduate course. It is one of the paramedical courses with a course duration of 4 years. Admission to this course is through the national entrance exam conducted by AIIMS. Candidate must have passed/appeared in 10+2 or equivalent examination with English Physics Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics & has a minimum mark 50% for Gen/ EWS/OBC and 45% in case of SCs/ STs Categories in aggregate in English Physics Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics (as applicable) of qualifying examination I. e 10+2 or equivalent. Candidate age should be 17 year as on the 31st of December,2022.

Yes, you will get placement after completing the B. Optometry course from ITM Vocational University. According to research, the placement rate for the Bachelor of Optometry (BOPTM) course is 100%.
The previous batch of graduates from ITM University were placed with an average salary package of Rs. 3.3 LPA.

There are many good colleges in Bangladesh for B.Sc. Optometry. You can opt for any of them. However if you wish to pursue it in India, there are some really great colleges here a well. You just have to keep in mind that the fees for NRI students would be much higher than Indian students.
