The eligibility criteria for BASLP is that the student should have completed 10+2 with a minimum 50% aggregate in Physics Chemistry and Biology. Students who belong to SC/ST/OBC require a minimum of 45% in the 12th standard. The NEET exam is not a mandatory entrance examination for BASLP Admission. To apply for B.Sc. Optometry, follow the step-wise application process explained below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of JIPMER Puducherry and click on the 'Application Link for B.Sc. Courses- Admission' given on the Homepage. Step 2: Enter the required details, such as full name (must match with both his/her government. Photo ID Card and Class 12 marksheet). Step 3: Upload all the required documents (scanned) and certificates in the acceptable format, including the passport size photograph and signature of the candidate. Step 4: Click on the 'Submit' button to complete the registration process.

For admission to the Bachelor of optometry course, students must sit for the entrance exam conducted by AIIMS. So, you should register and fill the application form for AIIMS entrance exam 2023. The tentative date of releasing of the application form is around 1st week of April 2023 and Entrance examination is around 3rd week of July 2023. Good Luck.
