The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST) in aggregate in theory and practice of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board. The candidate must have appeared in JEE Main and also secured a rank in Paper – 1 of JEE (Main). The merit list for admission to the B.Tech program at PDEU shall be based on the rank/marks obtained in JEE (Main).

It is not neccessary for taking admission in B.Sc in Pandit Deendayal Energy University. There are some guidelines which is neccessary to follow. Candidates meeting the PDEU B.Sc (Hons) eligibility criteria. Candidates must complete the online application form available on the university's official website. Candidates have to appear for the personal interview. Based on the class 12th marks and PI a merit list will be prepared (75% weightage will be given to theory marks of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology and 25% weightage to personal interview). In the last year candidates applied for admission of PDEU B.Tech 2023 till May 28, 2023 at the official website. The authorities conduct PDEU B.Tech admissions under GUJCET (50% seats), JEE Main (35% seats) and NRI sponsored (15 % seats).
