Getting admission into the Panjab University BTech course with a JEE Main rank of 100000 can be difficult. As per the Panjab University BTech cutoff 2024, the closing round JEE Main rank for BTech courses ranged from 67216 to 112216. The cutoff to get admission in earlier rounds was lower.

To get admission to Panjab University via JAC Chandigarh, candidate must attain the minimum cutoff required for the respective affiliated college. To get admission to BArch in the General AI category, the cutoff rank was 543, in the last round, for Chandigarh College of Architecture.
The most popular specialisation was BE in Computer Science and Engineering. Panjab University cutoff for MBA course is based on CAT scores. Candidates who wish to apply for Panjab University admissions to MBA course, must have a valid scores in CAT exam. Candidates must also meet the overall as well as the sectional CAT cutoff. Going as per the past year trends, the overall Panjab University MBA cutoff has been consistent at 85 percentile, whereas for sectional cutoff it is 50 percentile each for General category students. Chandigarh University offers MBA and MBA Human Resource through UBS Chandigarh. For MBA HR, candidates must have 85 percentile each for overall as well as sectional cutoffs.
