CNLU releases the round-wise CLAT cutoff for admission to NLU Patiala to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. in Criminal Law courses. As per the CLAT 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment result, the All India opening and closing ranks for B.A. LL.B. (Hons) are 502 and 1129. For LL.M. in Criminal Law, the opening and closing ranks are 90 and 774 for the General category candidates.

Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is one of the best colleges of in Patiala. A total of 1867 placement offers were made by 395 participating recruiters at Thapar University Placements 2022. Around 1604 students were placed in different companies in Thapar University Placements 2022. The highest package offered during Thapar University Placements 2022 stood at INR 40 LPA. The opening and closing ranks for NLU Patiala 2024 for BA LLB ( Hone) is expected to be 537 and 1082, respectively for the CLAT Round 1 Seat Allotment results. In case of LLM, NLU Patiala opening and closing ranks for CLAT R1 is expected to be 239 and 877. The aforementioned cutoff is estimated from the last year ranks for General All India category for Vertical Reservation. NLU Patiala admission to the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses is based on valid CLAT scores, followed by CLAT counselling. NLU Patiala Cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 5.

Candidates who qualify for CLAT must pay the fee for their respective courses, which includes components such as Tuition Fee, Examination Fee, Security Deposit, Hostel Charges (if applicable), etc. Other than the course fee, candidates are required to pay a fee for CLAT application fee. Every year, the cut off marks for the CLAT exam are affected due to the following factors:
- The difficulty level of the exam. In case the question paper is easy then the CLAT cut offs are expected to go high and vice-versa.
- Total number of applications received. If the total applications received are less then the cut off is expected to be relaxed.
- Total candidates qualifying CLAT exam. If the total number of qualifying candidates is less than the total seats then cut off goes low
