Periyar University

No, Periyar University does not accept scores for any entrance exam. There is no entrance exam required for Periyar University BSc admission. The university offers direct admission to all BSc courses. Students can only pursue BSc at Periyar University's affiliated colleges. The selection criteria is common across all the affiliated colleges. For admission to BSc courses, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Direct admission is offered to such candidates. The university selects candidates based on their merit obtained in Class 12.

The University has successfully concluded the 2023 placements. A total of 678 students registered for the 2023 drive, out of which 581 were successfully placed. Further,  68 companies participated and distributed over 798 job offers. PMU fees is cumulative of various components such as the tuition fees, hostel feel, security, deposit, etc. For three years of BCom, students have to pay the tuition fee ranging from INR 50,000 to INR 1.1 lakh. BSc in Animation & Multimedia at PMU is a UG-level course extended over three years. The course duration is further divided into six semesters. Each semester comprises core and elective subjects.
