Ph.D

The application fee per department is INR 300 for General/ Gen-EWS/ OBC category and INR 200 for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates. This amount is completely non-refundable. Candidates can deposit the requisite application fee by using net banking or debit/credit card facilities. Additional charges are applicable as per the rule of the concerned bank. The fee is, however, not accepted through any other mode.

Candidates must have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university to be eligible for PhD at Patna University. The selection of candidates is done basis of their scores in PAT. Eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website.
