Government of India has initiated several teaching oriented undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. level courses to help interested candidates in becoming a successful Teacher. B.Ed and M.Ed are teaching-oriented graduation and post-graduation level courses. Ph.D. is a doctoral degree, which can be done after doing M.Ed or any post-graduation course. However, there is a lot of confusion among students related to these courses. M.Ed also known as Master of Education, is a postgraduate degree oriented towards the teaching profession. It can only be pursued after completing B.Ed. In this course, the student gains in-depth knowledge related to student counselling, curriculum and instructions, administration, and student Psychology. It is a compulsory postgraduate degree if you want to become a teacher at intermediate level or want to become a vice-principal or principal.

Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. The university offers the students Ph.D. and Integrated Ph.D. programs. A candidate who wishes to work for Ph.D. degree on full time (including project staff working in sponsored projects being carried out at the institute) should apply in the prescribed form on or before the due dates announced every year. Selection based on the performance in the VITREE 2022 score, PG Degree marks, Research proposal and Interview. Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed, shall appear for VITREE 2022, a computer based test (CBT) for 2 hours on 4th & 5th June 2022 at their test venue of Campus of choice. Change of Venue Campus, date of Interview or programme will not be permitted. The question paper will have 100 MCQs (Technical :70 questions; English communication skills : 15 questions; Statistics and Probability 15 questions). .

Admission to Ph.D. programme for July 2022 session is open to FULL TIME and PART TIME research scholar applicants, in the Faculty of Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Medical Science, Dental Science, Biotechnology, Nursing, Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Law and Agricultural Science. Besides, the Ph.D. programme is also open to different Departments of Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences. Ph.D. students will also be admitted to different centers such as Center of Excellence in Theoretical and Mathematical Science (CETMS), Center of Nano Science and Nano Technology, Center of Biotechnology, Bio Fuels and Bio Processing Research Center and others. CETMS is primarily focusing on conducting advanced theoretical and experimental research.
