Friend, Computer science is a demanded field because big companies like google, Microsoft , etc . figure out huge salary packages for students. So students try to get into CS field in every IIT . This make Opening Cutoff and Closing Cutoff very high.
For IIT Hyderabad , CS field Cutoff for 2016 was
Opening Rank - AIR 418 and
Closing Rank - AIR 851 .
You should be in top 1000 to get in CS field in any IIT .

The admission will be based on the result and marks attained by the candidates in the entrance examination. The entrance examination shall be conducted by the university. There shall be 2 question papers in the entrance examination and candidates need to gain a minimum 40% marks in the question paper with aggregate marks of 50% in both question papers.

Admission for Ph.D. is based on UGC NET score and for some seats university conduct its own entrnace test. One can apply online through university website. Elligibility for admission in Ph.D. is Masters with 55 percent.
