Yes, Bangalore University offers a full-time Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in multiple specialisations. These specialisations include Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, etc. The duration of these courses is four years. Admission to the UG-level programme is based on the applicant's performance in KCET. Candidates must ensure that they meet the present eligibility criteria before they submit their applications.
Karnataka Examination Authority has released the KCET results online at the official website. In case two or more candidates score the same marks in the KCET exam then KEA opts for tie-breaking formula. The tie-breaking formula for KCET is given below.
The marks secured in Biology / Mathematics will be considered BTech and other courses.
If the tie still persists then the marks obtained by the candidates in Chemistry / Physics will be considered. BTech and other courses.
If tie still persists then the marks obtained in specific subjects in the qualifying exam will be considered.
If still the tie is not broken, then the candidate's age will be taken into consideration. The candidate with higher age will be assigned a higher rank.
