LPU Admit is an online portal that enables students to kick-start their enriching journey at LPU where one can know more about the programme of their interest and proceed with admission. Applicants need to apply and qualify LPUNEST for Admission except for some programmes. In some programmes Counselling/Interview will also be conducted. Yes, BARC provides a Ph.D. programme. If you qualify for the BARC fellowship, you will get to do your Ph.D. at one of the following four institutions:
1- Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai.
2- Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam.
3-Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), Gandhinagar.
4- Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), Kolkata. Selection Process for the BARC DAE Doctoral Fellowship programme:
Applicants will first have to appear for a written test, which will be held around March 21, 2021, after which applicants will be shortlisted for a selection interview based on their performance in the screening test as well as on their previous academic records. 25 percent weightage will be given to the BE or B.Tech percentage, 25 percent weightage to the average of the ME or M.Tech semester-1 and semester-2 percentages, and the BARC screening exam will carry 50 percent weightage.
