Chances will be high with an IIT tag and a Ph.D from a highly ranked foreign university. You must know that jobs after Ph.D is mainly research and teaching so if you want to a good job you must excel in these fields. Your publication, project work, concepts, etc. will matter when you are seeking a job. You can check payscale.com for salary info.

Age Limit
For JRF (NET): Maximum 28 years as on 01st January 2017 (upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer)/ Persons with disability (PwD) and female applicants)
For LS (NET): No upper age limit
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have M. Sc or equivalent degree/Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/B Tech/B Pharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for general and OBC-Non Creamy layer candidates (Central list only as provided in National Commission for Backward Classes website) and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with disability (PwD) candidates

These are two different programs and cannot be compared on any rich comparison. I am sorry but I will have to ask you to go by your gut feelings and choose the one you are more interested in.

It's very heartening to see girl from 10th having dreams in eyes. Gr8 indeed. It's actually very simple. You need to pass 12th with good marks to enable admission in good college in BA English. Then you do MA, then NET then get job and register for PhD.
