Complete an undergraduate degree in a broad field. To qualify for a Ph.D program, you will need a solid record of undergraduate coursework from a reputable university. This degree should demonstrate your potential for both advanced coursework and independent research.

It is difficult to say which universities will accept you for PhD as the admission process itself is different. You must be accepted by a supervisor firstly. Start contacting the department supervisors, you will find supervisor details on the university website or the research page. Share your profile and your research questions with them. If they like you, you are in. Of course you must also go through the formalities such as online application form etc., but will come later after into the picture.

Hello,
If you want to be a lecturer, then you should apply for NET exams like CSIR NET or UGC NET.
NET is the national eligibility test for candidates, who are willing to pursue their career further as a junior research fellow or an assistant professor.
Best of luck.
