Physical Education and Fine Arts are not accepted domain subjects for admission to BA (Hons) English at Delhi University via CUET since they are not included in List B1—the prescribed list of domain subjects. Applicants have to sit for English as a mandatory subject under the language section of CUET and opt for any three subjects from List B1, which comprises subjects such as History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, and Geography. These are popular as they are in line with the analytical and humanities-focused nature of the English Honours course.

Yes D.P.Ed is a great career option for the individual who are passionate about sports, fitness and teaching and also wants to pursue their career in physical education. The demand for physical education teachers is increasing now a days rapidly due to:

  • Growing awareness about fitness and health
  • Increased focus on sports education in schools and colleges
  • Expansion of fitness centers, yoga studios and sports academies
  • Government initiatives like Khelo India promoting sports at the grassroots level

If you have a keen interest in physical activities enjoy working with people and want a dynamic career then D.P.Ed. can be excellent choice.
