Yes, you may get direct admission into PIET (Panipat Institute of Technology) for certain courses. The admission criteria of the institute consists of several criteria. For most of the courses, students are selected either on merit or entrance basis. Additionally, students need to participate in state or institute-level counselling as well depending on the course. However, the institute reserves 25% of the sanctioned intake for students applying under the management quota. This is valid for those applying for BTech, BTech LEET, BPharm, Diploma in ME, Diploma in ME (LEET), DPharm, etc.

To get admission into Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), students need to fulfil the admission criteria of the desired programme. Students are selected either based on entrance score or merit in the last qualifying exam. Around 75% of the total seat intake if filled via HSTES counselling for BTech/ BTech LEET/ BPharm/ Diploma in ME/ Diploma in ME (LEET) and DPharm courses. Once students have filled out the application form, PIET's admissions committee ranks students based on marks obtained in CAT/MAT. Once the list is prepared, a counselling process is conducted for the allocation of MBA seats. These seats are distributed based on the order of ranks as per the rank/merit list.

PIET accepts MAT scores for MBA admissions. Thus, candidates seeking admission can apply for the exam. As per the latest MAT schedule, the registration process for CBT 1 is expected to end in the middle of December, 2024. Students who wish to apply for the exam must register before the deadline. MAT CBT 2 is scheduled to be held on Dec 22, 2024.

Yes, students who are enrolled in the MBA programme at PIET must undergo a summer internship. The duration of this internship should be six to eight weeks. Moreover, students can take up internships in any domain of Management as per their interest and choice of specialisation.
